We think it is necessary to address some of the issues why the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board(JAMB) have not announced their date for the commencement of 2017 JAMB UTME registration.Prospective candidates are so curious about the strange action of JAMB,having not started the 2017 jamb registration unlike other years.By now,as other years, the examination proper had commenced or even at the verge of finishing.Most at times,by this time,JAMB is already compiling results.So,this strange action had even put fears and anxiety into many students who would be writing the coming exam.Well,calm down as we have you covered on the reasons why jamb had not started 2017 registration.
First,JAMB has not officially stated the statistics and BENCHMARK cut-off marks for the various institutions based on performance of candidates in the previous exam
Secondly,according to a very close source working at the JAMB headquarter that we work with,JAMB is trying to make sure that all the accredited cbt centres had successfully installed the CCTV cameras as directed by the jamb boss,Prof.Ishaq Oloyede.
Thirdly,with the recent change of jamb boss and house reshuffle,jamb is trying to strategize and come up with the best conduct this year.
However,our source gathered that some people are already collecting money from candidates,saying that JAMB has commenced registration.We even learnt that some cyber cafe owners were also arrested with respect to the malicious conduct.
Students are advised to be calm and focus more on reading their books in preparation for the exam rather than wasting their precious time going to jamb office everyday to register for the exam when the registration date had not even been officially announced.This is the major reason why most of them are being duped.Some pose as jamb officials,telling them to pay so that they will register for them,that registration is going on secretly at the headquarters.
